*Ahem*

I'd like to introduce a new addition to my happy spicy family...a new section of links called Spicy Works. This area will house any pieces of artwork that I post here on my site.

Currently I have four links:

Boy Meets H.Girl - Some of my loyal readers will remember this as my entry in Tokyopop's Rising Star of Manga # 5 contest. It wasn't a winner in that it didn't place, but it was a winner because its the closest I've ever been in creating a comic the way I envisioned it. Hopefully, Rising Star of Manga # 6 will prove to be a more interesting ride.

Lead Character 1,2 & 3 - These three drawings are character designs of a lead character in this project I'm doing with a friend from California. We've decided to go with the third one (if anyone is curious).

Hopefully I'll post some new works in the next coming weeks.

Ta~Dah

Sorry I'm late, almost didn't make this post tonight. Was kinda playing this new Dragon Ball Z game I bought. Yes I know, Dragon Ball Z is one of my guilty pleasures. I got hooked on it in high school when a friend introduced me to it. Don't look at me like that, I'm sure a lot of you are stilled hooked on your 90210, O.C. and um...um...Saved by the Bell. Same thing, instead of Dylan McKay it's Son Goku.

Anywho...I finally have my comic up! Before I unveil the comic, here's the story behind it's creation. There's a company, Tokyopop, which normally translates and publishes Japanese comics (and does a good job at it). Well they have been holding a contest for American artists to enter their 20 page creations in hopes of being one of the top 10 winners.

They started this a couple of years ago, I tried entering that one and failed miserably. I didn't even finish the book and learned a hard lesson on how to plan this kind of project.

I later tried their 4th contest, and I barely entered that one (with help from my brother's aggressive encouragment). Again, learned more about creating a comic's story.

So, now this takes me to the 5th contest, where I still didn't give myself enough time, but managed to enter something closer to my original vision. I didn't win...but I learned more lessons and I will win the next one.

With no further ado here's my comic:

Boy Meets H.Girl
